Tram No1

Dad built this 4mm scale model in the mid-1970s, it was set to oo gauge in the 1980s when it would often the only working engine on my model railway!
Built almost entirely from brass, with a “K’s” motor and the biggest flywheel you’ve ever seen in a model this small! In the finest tradition of my father, it remains unfinished, like almost every other project he started!

The model survives to this day, although it has been through several wars.
It has since inspired my build of PATIENCE and subsequently, MUSKETEER.

My initial take on No1, PATIENCE
And the second attempt, MUSKETEER
