BERYL was designed & built by my late father. At a guess, in the very early 1980’s and it is one of only a handful of projects dad finished! Its gauge precludes its use on the 32mm Candlebridge, and its antiquity precludes me having the courage to steam it! I know that the boiler was soft soldered and is now over thirty years of age.

A single oscillating cylinder powered by a potboiler. I will attempt to provide a fuller description at some future date.

One change I’ve made since dad passed away is the addition of a name.

BERYL takes her name from my mother (Dad never named her, but I felt it was time).
